MATERUNI WATERFALLS AND COFFEE TOUR
Materuni is just 15km away from Moshi Town and is the last village before the Kilimanjaro National Park. The waterfall, named after the village is an immense and powerful waterfall that’s definitely worth the visit when you’re in Tanzania. From Arusha, the trip will take about 2 hours and just half an hour from Moshi.

On this day walking tour, your friendly local tour guide will take you on an unforgettable waterfall and coffee tour. Picking you from your place, the day will start with visiting a coffee plantation, where you will discover how coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed. Practice roasting, making and tasting coffee and get to know the culture of the indigenous Chagga tribe. The trip also includes a hike to Materuni Waterfalls – with a height of roughly 90 meters, it is the tallest and most magnificent waterfall at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Remember to pack your swimwear, as you will also get a chance to cool off with a refreshing swim and to explore the gorgeous, lush surroundings!
