Cosmas John is an experienced nonprofit leader and social entrepreneur based in Tanzania. He is the founder and CEO of Zion Gates Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of marginalized communities in Tanzania through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

Cosmas was born and raised in Tanzania, where he saw firsthand the challenges faced by individuals and communities living in poverty. He was inspired to make a difference and dedicated his career to improving the lives of others.

Experience:

Cosmas has over 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector in Tanzania. Prior to founding Zion Gates Foundation, he worked for several other nonprofit organizations. During this time, he gained extensive experience in program management, fundraising, and community engagement.

In 2020, Cosmas founded Zion Gates Foundation with the aim of addressing some of the most pressing social, economic, and environmental issues facing Tanzania today. Under his leadership, the foundation has implemented a range of programs and initiatives, including environmental conservation, Child protection and give hand for underprivileged children, and supporting small businesses through capacity building.

Biography:

Cosmas John was born in Tanzania in 1986. He grew up in a small village in the Kilimanjaro region, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by individuals and communities living in poverty.

Cosmas was attended at the University of Dar es Salaam, where he studied Bachelor of commerce majoring in marketing. After completing his degree, he began his career in business sector,later the nonprofit sector, working for several organizations before founding Zion Gates Foundation in 2020.

In his free time, Cosmas enjoys hiking, safari,nature,reading, and spending time with his family. He is passionate about social justice and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
