2. Deutsches Museum

. Deutsches Museum is an old and large museum of its kind, located in the city center of Munich. It incorporates science and technology in its structure and design. It has astronomy exhibitions, electric dynamo, and automobile.  This is an ideal place to visit with your family and friends.

3. Museum Brandhorst

This is a home of contemporary art that was opened in May 2009. It has about 200 exhibitions an over 700 works. It is located next to the Pinakothek Museums. What stands out more is the Andy Warhol Paintings and great work by Damien Hirst.


4. Pinakothek Museums

This is one of the oldest world-class museums in Munich, located near the English garden. There are three museums in one, Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek, and Pinakothek der Moderne. The three are close to each other and are a must-visit in the city. 


5. Nymphenburg Palace

It is just a thirty minutes drive from the central station in Munich. This is a glamorous palace preferred by Bavarian royals. The construction of the Nymphenburg Palace started in 1664 in honor of Max Emanuel. It is a great hall with a very inspiring ceiling that used to host King Ludwig II.

The inner workings are quite fulfilling to view. There is a beautiful garden around the palace which you can consider to visit even if you do not want to enter the palace.


Octoberfest Museum

The festival is held annually in Munich, Bavaria.  At least six million people attend the event every year. This is where you learn about who invented beer and why it qualifies to be called so. All your beer-related questions are answered during this event that began as a wedding party for the royal family.
