1. The Collector
This traveler vacations not for the thrill of it, but for the tangible things they can bring back from their adventures. While the destination is a deciding factor, the ability to find unique and odd artifacts is even more of a draw.
2. The Conformist
Rather than travel for personal satisfaction, the conformist travels for social acceptance. Destinations are often limited, unimaginative and socially acceptable for their peer group. This type of traveler is more concerned with what their friends think about their vacation.
3. The Thrill-Seeker
The name says it all. This type of traveler lives for adventure and plans their vacation destination around how much thrill the location offers. From water sports and mountain climbing, to safaris, winter sports and more, this traveler wants to be where the action is.
4. The Pilgrim
This traveler follows the old trails and pilgrimages of centuries past. The history and experience of walking in the footsteps of a famous adventurer is what drives this traveler.
5. The Pioneer
On their own, out in the wilderness going where many wouldn’t dream, the pioneer has an adventurous spirit and the determination of history’s earliest settlers.
6. The Occasional
This traveler is on vacation for a reason. Whether it is an annual vacation, a honeymoon, concert or an event, the occasional traveler is very purpose oriented.
7. The Oblivious
Not sure where they are going or what they are doing while there, the oblivious traveler doesn’t care about the destination, just the fact that they are on vacation.
8. The Curious
Curious about the world around them, the curious traveler is always looking for new ways to experience their surroundings and become a part of their destination.
